Accommodation for our feline companions
Our strength lies in providing individual care to individual felines in our bespoke 'state of the art' cattery which is situated in a beautiful and quiet country setting. Together with the UK’s leading animal housing manufacturer we have produced the ultimate cattery which is compliant with Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) standards and the only one of its kind in Staffordshire.
Quintessential Quarters offers extended knowledge, high ratios of qualified staff, excellent security and peace of mind which is valuable for any cat lover.
Each guest is assessed daily to gain details such as eating habits, medication, sleeping patterns, behavioral issues,
nervousness and anxiety. These findings are recorded on our pet administration program, which we can then refer
to during subsequent visits.
Any surroundings where cats are cared for has potential for the spread of infection and disease so any cat entering a cattery should have good protection.
In accordance with the Animal Boarding Establishment Act 1963, a current vaccination certificate which identifies inoculation against feline entities, feline respiratory disease and FeLV must be produced for each animal on the day of arrival otherwise boarding will be refused. The record of vaccination must be completed four weeks before the boarding date. A shorter time is acceptable if suitable veterinary evidence is available.
Unneutered males cats are likely to mark their accommodation with a very pungent spray therefore Quintessential Quarters only accepts adult cats that have been neutered.
All cats must also be wormed and regularly treated for fleas.
Please consult your Veterinary Surgeon for more information.
All cats must be conveyed in a serviceable and secure pet carrier until their arrival at the cattery unit.
